This is the second time I have worked with Julia. She turned out to be a person who quickly lights up with ideas. The fan dance by the sea was her idea. We were looking for fans for a long time, trained to work with them, but I was sure that we would succeed. We have chosen a unique place. This is a sandbar that appears at low tide and connects Koh Phangan with another island. I remember that it was a very hot setting sun, and we were looking for the right angles and were doing a lot of takes. There was a light wind, sand flew at the equipment and the backlight couldn’t cope with such a sun at all. Everyone were tired. But as a result, it seems that my photo shoot and whole plot have gone well. Julia, as a professional dancer, withstood all of this and was a great fellow.
