THE DEVIL IS ALWAYS IN + We photographed a continuation of the plot with the little devil. A very simple idea: a game of strip cards. The place where the shooting took place is the RASKOLNIKOV bar (there is also something mystical in the name of the bar) ... In process, everything did not go exactly according to idea, the image of an angel (sister) and bar scenes appeared. It seems to me that the original task was completed, despite the shortened version ... And then you can evaluate.

Yes, that is the name of this girl, although I have not seen her documents... She has been living on Koh Phangan for a long time, but she claims that she is new to the island in this dimension.Such people are not rare here. She is not an evil girl and adheres to some kind of self philosophy. At the time I was living in a villa, which I occasionally used as a studio for photoshoots. Kasandra unexpectedly called me and offered to conduct a trial shoot before her work ... and look what has happened.

Vikings

August 2021, not far from Vyborg

Those were some interesting shooting days. I realized that mature people, who participated in the process (and the team included not only models and a photographer), never mind dressing up, playing, bringing some scenes to life. Someone advised something, everyone was involved... Probably, in everyone's life there are not many things that would distract us from everyday tasks and routine. In this section, all my photographic works about the Vikings. Although, I still have some material and someday I will return to it.

Creative Idea

This is the second time I have worked with Julia. She turned out to be a person who quickly lights up with ideas. The fan dance by the sea was her idea. We were looking for fans for a long time, trained to work with them, but I was sure that we would succeed. We have chosen a unique place. This is a sandbar that appears at low tide and connects Koh Phangan with another island. I remember that it was a very hot setting sun, and we were looking for the right angles and were doing a lot of takes. There was a light wind, sand flew at the equipment and the backlight couldn’t cope with such a sun at all. Everyone were tired. But as a result, it seems that my photo shoot and whole plot have gone well. Julia, as a professional dancer, withstood all of this and was a great fellow.

Phangan. Natika. Acquaintance

A lot of good things happen by chance... So the acquaintance with the girl Natika was like that. She came from Bangkok to help her friend with the development of a small clothing store, and I was walking past the store with a girl Nastya (makeup artist @te4nocobra). We saw her through the window and at the same time said: "What a beautiful Thai girl!". After a while we all became very good friends.

Phangan. Local lionesses

ulia and Yana are truly locals on this island. They have been living here for a long time and many people know them. Yulia is a well-known dancer on the island. She and her friend are creating invents and putting on shows at the famous phangan parties. Yana is a face for many local brands and a jewelry designer in a glamorous island style. They definitely different girls, but as people say here: "The island accepted them ..." The plot of the photo shoot was born on its own and the girls selflessly tried to bring any idea to life. This is my first job on the island and it was easy and fun and a pretty good start. Good luck Julia and Yana!

Unrealized talents

The girl who’s name is Dinara is not a professional model, but a professional stylist.
Once, she really helped me when another model did not come to the photo session about the Vikings. Dinara perfectly got used to the role of an escaped captive.
Of course, I wanted to make a photo shoot again, but in a different way in studio, lighting and other facilities that the studio has.
It’s probably a pity that Dinara didn’t become a professional model or an actress.

But many people do not go further than their desires, they are afraid of themselves or the reprimands of others and they come up with excuses for themselves.
In my opinion, this reflects the personal freedom of each person, his character. The more a person can afford, the more freedom he probably has, the more stable his life is and the more formed his worldview.
For example, I wanted to burn a sofa on the field and see what came of it. 🙂

This photo session took place in Tbilisi, an amazing place where Ivan Georgievich Kalamkarov lived and worked.
Looking at the owner’s of the house photo, doctor of medicine, Ivan Georgievich Kalamkarov, one involuntarily thinks about tricks of the fate...
Outwardly, he was similar to another famous doctor and writer, Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. However he was more attractive in a Caucasian way. Ivan Georgievich Kalamkarov was a military doctor. He was born in 1875, graduated from the Medical Faculty of Moscow University. He participated in the Russian - Japanese War and the First World War. Kalamkarov served as a junior resident in the hospital team of the Tiflis hospital, and in July 1909 he became a court counselor. When Ivan Georgievich worked at the Olginsky institute, he was engaged in private gynecological practice at home and achieved significant success in gynecology. Currently his descendants live in this house on the third floor.

Short Petersburg’s summer

It was the summer of 21st and it was nice and hot. However, it is short-lived, like any summer in St.Petersburg. On this day I wanted water, some fun and creativity. The girl Nadia had a slight depression and I offered her to hold a photo session, which imperceptibly turned into filming almost at night. I think on this day we coped with the depression of our model Nadia successfully.
